McKenzie River Trout & Coastal Winter Steelhead Trips

During the winter months or when my MT rivers are too high to fish in May and early June I return to Oregon to run a limited number of coastal winter steelhead or McKenzie River trout trips.   

These trips take us to some of Oregon's most beautiful rivers to fish for either the famous McKenzie River rainbow trout or hard fighting steelhead fresh out of the ocean.

Whether you have lived and fished in Oregon your whole life or are looking to experience one of these legendary fisheries for the first time,  I would be excited to show you a great day doing it.

 Both Steelhead fishing with a fly rod or spinning gear, and dry fly fishing the Upper McKenzie River in a locally made wooden drift boat  are some of the most wonderful fishing experiences a person can have.  I'm always excited to show people how much fun these fisheries can be.
